![]() The plan was to have it hidden on the trophy that you see randomly during rare inspections.- Manny “Happy New Fart” Hagopian January 10, 2022 It was actually supposed to be this picture or the picture of Mirage and his family as a kid (the one in the lore book) but it apparently never made it in the game for some reason. Now, Apex Legends lead writer, Manny Hagopian ( has come forward with an answer. This is allegedly due to a missing animation/emote regarding the Legend's family. Since its release in late June 2020, Mirage's golden trophy melee weapon, "Too Much Witt" has been the subject of discussion in the community. For a full list of buff and nerfs, visit Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends news page, here. The lead writer for Apex Legends has revealed what happened to the mystery Easter Egg heirloom animation missing from Mirage.Īccording to players, Mirage's heirloom inspection has been missing animation for quite some time. Given Wraith’s tiny hitbox, this skill has always been annoying to fight against since it allowed players to be hyper-aggressive with almost no downside. Now it takes longer to cast, in the hope that it will curb players from using it as a “get out of jail free” card when they’re attacking an enemy. Inversely, Wraith got his with a rather substantial nerf to her Tactical Ability. This means you can still fight enemies while reviving your teammate, making it dangerous for enemies to push. drone without committing herself to the fight. Lifeline can now pick up downed players with her D.O.C. The two biggest are for Lifeline and Wraith, who each had their kits reworked so they could either more viable or less dominant in the current meta. In addition to the heirloom, Respawn Entertainment also introduced a number of buffs and nerfs to various characters. Otherwise, you’ll be limited to Pathfinder, Wraith, Octane, and Lifeline’s Heirlooms in the Heirloom tab. After you earn your Heirloom Shards, you can purchase Mirage’s trophy afterthe Lost Treasures event has concluded. ![]() There’s no way to track how many Apex Packs you’ve opened, so you’ll either need to keep count or just guess how close you are. After opening 500 Apex Packs you will earn 150 Heirloom Shards which can be spent unlocking one heirloom of your choice. ![]() The other method is a bit more grind, but certainly possible if you haven’t earned an heirloom yet. Keep in mind, it doesn’t matter what rank you are, how much you’ve played, or how good you are at Apex Legends, this cosmetic will cost you money during the event. So unless you have a lot of money saved up, don’t expect to earn this item any time soon. You can only buy Event Packs in either groups of 10 for 7,000 Apex Coins or individually for 700 Apex Coins each.ĭoing the math, you would need to purchase $160 in Apex Coins to have enough to buy all of the Event Packs if you bought two sets of 10 and then the last four by themselves. This means you will need to purchase a total of 24 loot boxes to unlock Mirage’s Heirloom. Each pack guarantees you only one cosmetic from the event, however, you will never receive a duplicate. The first is during this Lost Treasures event you purchase every cosmetic item in the event tab via the Lost Treasures Event Packs. Unfortunately, there are still only two ways to earn heirlooms in Apex Legends. During the Lost Treasures event, you can earn Mirage’s trophy heirloom, which is just a golden statue of the man himself. For example, Bloodhound’s is their hunting axe, while Octane’s is a butterfly knife/Stim syringe combo. This unique melee weapon is tied to a specific character and typically reflects either that legend’s personality or some aspect of their past. Similar to previous events in Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale game, players can collect cosmetic items until they unlock a character’s specific heirloom. Of course, when I say hunt, I mean shell out a little over a hundred dollars until the game unlocks it for you. The new Lost Treasures event for Apex Legendshas arrived, which means it’s time to hunt down a new heirloom.
