I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”ġ0 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. ( I) 9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. 6 “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, ( H) suffering terribly.”ħ Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?”Ĩ The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. ( D) But go, show yourself to the priest ( E) and offer the gift Moses commanded, ( F) as a testimony to them.” The Faith of the Centurion ( G)ĥ When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. 4 Then Jesus said to him, “See that you don’t tell anyone. ![]() ![]() “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy. 2 A man with leprosy ( B) came and knelt before him ( C) and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”ģ Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. 8 When Jesus came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him.
